E-Commerce Intern

The e-commerce operations team that manages BungieStore.com seeks an intern during summer 2023 to support the team during a period of re-branding and re-structuring of the online storefront. The project will involve working with an external web development agency and internal teams to execute the goals defined by more senior members of the team. The project includes a look "under the hood" of our industry-leading Bungie Rewards program that connects Bungie's games with Bungie Store to run a physical merchandise program that is based on a player's in-game achievements.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or related program and returning to school in the fall upon conclusion of the internship
  • Available to work full-time for 12 weeks throughout the summer with a set May or June start date

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce operations team to prepare product launches by creating product listings, setting up promotions, requesting assets, facilitating feedback and scheduling work with producers across the broader team.
  • Assist the Consumer Products team by performing ad-hoc reporting of retail sales and web analytics for analysis, trends, and purchase order creation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations of wireframes and storefront redesign mockups.
  • Support the Consumer Products team by creating and organizing documentation for historical and operational reference.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel using functions such as Pivot and VLOOKUP.
  • Basic understanding of HTML or similar web languages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing needs, priorities and requests.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
  • Familiarity with a content management system or ecommerce platform such as Shopify, Big Commerce, or Adobe Commerce (Magento).
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices and website design.
  • Passion for online retail especially merchandise related to video games.
