Child Life Specialist

Job Description

Summary

Being sick or injured can be scary - especially for children. To care for these precious and vulnerable children we offer a team of Child Life Specialists who help children through difficult tests procedures and sometimes drastic changes that happen within their families due to illness or injury.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors-Related Discipline-Required
Masters-Related Discipline-Preferred
 
Experience
Possess knowledge in human growth and development family dynamics play developmental observation and assessment.
 
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Certification required through Child Life Council or eligible to take the exam.
Certified Child Life Specialist-Preferred
