Software Merchant Inc. is searching for the next generation of iOS Development talent! We're looking for hard-working, passionate candidates that acknowledge and understand the value of mobile/iOS application development. We are always fulfilling requirements for our Fortune500 client projects to design, develop, and implement business application software & technologies, using Xcode, Swift 5, Swift UI, Combine, etc. to develop secure, native iOS applications for internal business benefits and external consumer benefits.

More specifically, we are seeking experienced Mobile/iOS Developers that wish to continue building upon their work experience with iOS & Swift. This position focuses on projects for our Financial Investment & Wealth Management clients.
This is a full-time, onsite iOS Development job opportunity. Pay rate starts at $8,000/month (plus employment benefits) for candidates that match the job requirements. Client projects are onsite w/ a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site and 2 days remote work).

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional iOS Development experience.
  • Educational background of Bachelor's & Master's in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of core iOS/Swift design patterns (Creational, Structural, and Behavioral) and design architecture (MVC & MVVM, Viper is optional).
  • Proficient knowledge of iOS/Swift frameworks (Swift UI, Combine, UIKit, AVFoundation, MapKit, Security, etc.).
  • Knowledge of GCD, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
  • Experience creating Unit Tests, writing Unit Test cases, and deploying applications to TestFlight.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, and/or C++.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
  • Applications published on the App Store.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing applications using Swift 5, Swift UI & Combine, and iOS Frameworks.
  • Developing mobile graphic user interface elements (e.g. tableview, tabs, navigation menus, widget, etc.) using Swift UI & Combine frameworks.
  • Drawing directly from client feedback to create user-friendly, efficient iOS applicants.
  • Working with CoreData, MapKit, UIKit, GCD, Multithreading, AVFoundation, and other fundamental iOS concepts.
  • Generating Unit Tests and prioritizing processes of Memory Management & Version Management.
  • Implementing MVC, MVVC, and VIPER design architecture, along with other fundamental iOS design patterns.
  • Strengthening your problem-solving skills.

* Apple laptop/desktop will be provided by the company if needed.
