Marketing & Sales Intern

REMOTE POSITION*

Under the supervision of the Great Kids Marketing Specialist, this position is responsible for assisting with developing and implementing marketing strategies to reach new partners and grow our product sales. The sales and marketing intern will work with the Business Development team to help with creating and expanding the organization's sales, customer base, and marketing channels.






DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND JOB FUNCTIONS:


  1. Assist with social media content creation, including graphic design, copywriting, and paid advertisements.
  2. Assist with delivering marketing messages to partners (new and existing) through email marketing platforms. Writes copy and designs graphics to include in emails.
  3. Work with Marketing Specialist to maintain and update the company website to provide relative information on products and resources.
  4. Conduct market research and create a leads list.
  5. Drive sales through lead generation, including cold calling and emailing potential partners.
  6. Follow up on client leads and customer inquiries.
  7. Assist with client and customer relations.
  8. Participates in professional development offered and/or provided by Great Kids.
  9. Complete internal trainings to learn and experience Great Kids products.
  10. Attend weekly and monthly meetings with various Great Kids teams and staff as available.
  11. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing various marketing and sales sources.






ADDITIONAL:


  1. All other duties as assigned.
  2. Contributes and manages progress toward the GKI strategic goals in areas of job and organizational responsibility.
  3. Maintains current knowledge of the field and skills related to areas of responsibility.
  4. Maintains professional documentation in hard copy and electronic files, per GKI procedural guidelines, for all areas of responsibility.






EDUCATION:


Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
Must have the ability to work approximately 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
