How you’ll make an impact:

You’ll work closely with our partners in design, product management, and analytics to help ground our product development process in the needs of our customers. Using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods, you’ll dig deep into user journeys, workshop potential solutions, and evaluate the usability of emerging features.

What you’ll do:

Work with cross-functional groups to understand and improve the user experience across our suite of products.

Own product research projects - from the initial scoping and design phases, through data collection and analysis, and into reporting and sharing out results - with support from management and teammates. This includes:

Developing research questions and hypotheses

Deciding on appropriate methodology

Identifying realistic sampling procedures

Collecting data through interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc.

Identifying actionable insights

Communicating findings to stakeholders

Be fully immersed in the product teams. At SiriusXM research isn’t an island - we’re included in every step of the process to advocate for our users.

Participate in workshops to shape the direction of our emerging feature roadmaps.

What you’ll need:

Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2024 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

2+ years of experience conducting research in academic or applied settings, with at least 1 year of experience designing and executing projects - from development and sampling to analysis and reporting.

Qualitative OR quantitative research expertise.

An interest in leveraging mixed methodology in an industry setting.

Passion for the audio entertainment industry.

Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
