Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) - Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is seeking creative game-savvy software innovators from colleges and universities to develop artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms for the automated scheduling and coordination of simulated directed energy, hypervelocity projectiles, and other advanced weapon systems.
- Duties will include conducting Weapon Control Systems system integration efforts, including but not limited to: developing embedded software & hardware, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Collaborate across all functional areas within the organization and among external stakeholders.
- Ensure technical designs and analyses are reviewed by appropriate branch staff and personnel.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of a new application or modification of an existing application.
- Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design application and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software.
- Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results are produced.
