Enterprise Account Manager, Email Security

Avanan is looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to develop the Canada territory. We are seeking a proactive, innovative, and tenacious Enterprise Sales Professional to drive new email security business. This role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at the CIO, IT Director and CISO level, as well as with technical staff within the security and IT organization.
Responsibilities include the ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, while consistently and successfully closing business for Check Point.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define and execute your territory’s business plan
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for your territory
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives on qualified inbound opportunities to progress to closure
  • Work with resellers and technology partners to generate and close new opportunities
  • Present the Avanan value proposition to prospective customers
 

Desired Background

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably in the email/communication collaboration cybersecurity field 
  • Proficient with email security, sandboxing, or CASB technology
  • Fluent in SFDC, LinkedIn, Outreach 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of closing leads, exceeding sales quotas and managing sales pipeline
  • The position is remote and involves up to 50% travel once the restrictions are lifted
  • Candidate must be self-starting and have an appetite for working at a start-up with the level of enthusiasm required to be successful 
  • Existing customer clientele a plus
  • Multi-lingual a plus/strong proficiency in French a plus 
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
