[REMOTE} Graphic Design Intern - Spring 2023

Are you a student interested in building real-world experience with an award-winning team? We’re a forward-thinking marketing team looking for a talented Graphic Design Intern with fresh, creative ideas and an excellent eye for design and details.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the briefing, brainstorming, and creative review sessions. Work collaboratively with the Creative team and other disciplines within Marketing.
- Create and design print and digital materials, adhere to brand guidelines, and complete projects according to deadlines.
- Provide design and production support to the team – file preparation, image search, retouch, design elements, material updates, etc., as required within the creative workflow.
- Coordinate with vendors, project managers, and internal/external resources
- Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media.
- Gain cross-functional skills and visibility in all areas of the business: from our virtual training sessions, hands-on experience, mentorship program, and access to diverse subject matter experts
- Engage with other interns, leaders across BHG Financial, and the community through lunch and learns virtual team-building events and give-back projects.
What You'll Need
- Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or design-related field, graduating in May 2023
- Availability from in the Spring from (January – April)
- Part-Time availability of at LEAST 25 hours a week (M-F 9-6 EST. - NO Weekends)
- Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Comfortable working with basic design programs - Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Mac-operating system
- Exemplifies strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess a can-do attitude, is open to criticism, and learns things quickly
