Enrollment Operations Manager

Position Summary:
The Enrollment Operations Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations and reporting to effect recruitment and retention. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and supporting the use of technology to design and implement effective and efficient processing solutions that streamline the admissions, transcript, housing, visa, document collection, advisor approval, course selection, medical questionnaire, scholarships, special accommodations, and financial advising and aid processes. The Enrollment Operations Manager is responsible for configuration and administration of the CRM system (Salesforce).
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze key performance indicators and operational processes using data-driven models to identify areas of opportunity that increase student enrollment, propose and prioritize process efficiencies and/or development needs, and ensure financial effectiveness. 
  • Develop forecasting models for enrollment using statistical analysis. 
  • Coordinate the import of all applicant data received into Salesforce, transfer admissions data from all lead sources to the appropriate parties and monitor the submission of all applications and forms.  
  • Design, coordinate and implement the input processes and procedures for student data and create scheduled or ad hoc reports for enrollment progress updates, campaign management and analysis.  
  • Standardize enrollment reporting to promote focus on key metrics and improve customer service satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns, mailers, and filters within Salesforce; coordinate methods of notification and timing for inquiries and applicants as a part of the communications strategy; and track campaign effectiveness. 
  • Manage and lead staff members acting as subject matter experts in each advising subset. 
  • Act as a point of contact for questions related to Salesforce, enrollment policies, and reporting and analysis requests. 
  • Maintain comprehensive, current knowledge of best practices within the higher education and study abroad industry, as it relates to admissions and operations. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of professional experience using a student information system, including implementation and testing of new systems and system updates. 
  • Experience working in higher education, including a working knowledge of the admissions and recruitment process and an understanding of the terminology involved in admissions, recruitment and yield campaign management. 
  • Previous experience flowcharting and organizing recruitment projects or e-campaigns. 
  • Ability to work consistently with highly detailed assignments, independently and with strict deadlines. 
  • Ability to understand, explain and apply the policies and procedures of the department within a professional office setting. 
  • Ability to understand workflows and process documentation of how roles are performed. 
  • Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and recommendations. 
  • Previous experience with Salesforce, data mining, analysis, and manipulation skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
