2023 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Summer Intern
The Chick-fil-A Design department’s primary purpose is to anticipate and create design solutions for the business. Interns will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks over the lifetime of a project. The work will go beyond their design major and could include interior design, research, service design, industrial design and more. Our program is committed to helping interns learn more about design in practice, but we are also hoping to learn as well. We are looking for interns to bring in fresh, bold perspectives and feel it is a fantastic way to keep our design team on a lifelong path of learning as well as the pursuit of a bolder future.
- Partners with the design lead in the creative and strategic direction of a project and the day-to-day management of internal and external teams.
- Restaurant design & research
- Service design collaboration
- Strategic & creative input to Design projects
- Graphic design & presentation support
- Visual communications & storytelling design
- Participate in end-user research and analysis
- Help generate and articulate design ideas
- Support the development of interior, environmental, and service design concepts through sketches, narratives, etc
- Iterate creatively in search of a solution to a well-defined problem.
