Senior Integrated Marketing Specialist, U.S. Retail Marketing

The Role

We're looking for the following attributes:

We’ll trust you to:

  • Contribute to development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for US Retail markets and clients, driving the marketing of Lord Abbett products to financial advisors
  • Oversee the execution of email marketing initiatives, including briefing, creative review, QA, segmentation, deployment, tracking and optimization
  • Serve as marketing point-of-contact for Sales teams and respond to requests from the field to develop marketing emails
  • Contribute to lead generation and nurturing, working closely with Sales and Data teams to maximize effectiveness of lead scoring and sharing
  • Collaborate with Product, Investment and Sales team members to inform new and updated content and experiences, including presentations, sales pieces and campaign landing pages
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics team members to measure, analyze and optimize marketing efforts and drive business growth
  • Lead content development and drive promotional efforts for webinars from start to finish, including developing presentations with portfolio managers, maximizing attendance, sharing leads with sales desk and measuring impact
  • Throughout the year, present campaign results to and collaborate with Sales leaders to inform and validate the marketing strategy and demonstrate the value marketing delivers
  • Seek to deeply understand key audience segments and research audience needs in order to improve effectiveness of marketing
  • Work closely with Head of Retail Marketing to lead marketing efforts for specific segments, financial firms and/or products
  • Work closely with Head of Retail Marketing, team members and cross-functional leaders to develop, socialize and execute annual marketing plans

You'll need to have:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 3+ years relevant experience in marketing or selling financial products to financial advisors
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives
  • Understanding of the needs of financial advisors and distinctions between firms and segments among advisors
  • Demonstrated success and growth as an integrated marketer
  • Active interest in new and emerging trends in multi-channel marketing
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Hands-on email marketing experience, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
  • Ability to do basic work in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with writing short-form marketing content (email, landing pages)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Series 7 license and/or willingness to acquire
