Operations Support Specialist

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Employee Relations and Organizational Development, the Operations Support Specialist provides a variety of support services for the Employee Relations and Organizational Development teams. The Specialist provides confidential support for administrative functions related to the entire employee experience, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits, engagement, training and development, performance evaluation, and accountability functions and activities.  The Specialist provides support for the College’s organizational development functions, including strategic planning, grants, resource and project development.  The Specialist collaborates with other Finance & Administration employees to provide seamless support for finance and general administration activities.
 
Qualified candidates possess an Associate Degree in Administrative Professional, Business Management, or related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
 
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of work experience in human resources or employee relations, work experience in a higher education setting and with an HRIS, and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
