Manager, Business Development & Marketing

Beanstalk seeks a Manager, Business Development & Marketing to support the Business Development and Marketing team’s efforts to grow its client portfolio and agency profile. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a growing company that won Best Agency of the Year in the licensing industry.  
The position plays an integral role in driving Beanstalk’s Business Development strategy to grow its portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include fielding new business inquiries to evaluate potential new client prospects and managing the new business pitch process, including development of PowerPoint presentations and responses to RFPs. The Manager will be expected to oversee the process with prospective new clients from initial call to contract negotiation, as well as conduct research and identify trends in target industries.
The Manager will also collaborate with Beanstalk’s other US offices as well as with the UK team to similarly assist with global business development. Manager will liaise with senior account managers across all internal departments to support the development of idea generation for potential new clients.
Marketing responsibilities include leading the strategy and implementation of various marketing initiatives including management of all aspects of Beanstalk’s participation in the annual licensing industry trade show, oversight of Beanstalk’s social media accounts and website, brand identity, and developing internal and external corporate communications including email campaigns and presentations. Public Relations responsibilities consist of managing our external PR agency, writing press releases, and assisting with the development of thought leadership content. 
This diverse role requires effective communication, writing, organization, project management and interpersonal skills along with great attention to detail. The candidate should have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work closely with high-level executives and clients. Experience in business development, public relations, event planning, presentation design, social media, and email campaigns is a plus. 
The ideal candidate would demonstrate a strong work ethic, professional commitment and proactive approach to work coupled with a desire to learn and grow. An interest in consumer, retail and industry trends and a passion for global brands and marketing is a plus and having licensing experience is a huge plus. 
This position requires at least five years of experience with a focus on business development, marketing, PR, licensing or other related roles.
