Fundraising Internship- Fall 2022
Qualifications
• A passion for first responders, politics, and the City of Boston
• Live in or around the Greater Boston Area for the duration of the internship
Position Summary
• The Fundraising Intern will assist with fundraising with responsibilities including donor outreach, research, campaign management, and administrative support
• Conduct daily contribution tracking and outreach
• Assisting with writing tasks, including newsletters, direct mail pieces and fundraising texts and emails
• Manage donor communications
• Attend staff meetings via video call
• Complete a funding report by end of internship
• Assist LB617 staff by monitoring emails and other communications
•Interns will also gain an extensive Boston Area network through connecting with LB617 staff members, contributors, public safety leaders and others
