How you’ll make an impact:
SiriusXM is looking for an organized and energetic intern who isn't intimidated by working with some of the biggest names in entertainment!
What you’ll do:
- Craft pitches to artist managers and label reps for promotional programming opportunities.
- Ensure that all appropriate content is collected during guest visits.
- Aid in facilitating promotion of social assets for SiriusXM features.
- Planning and prioritizing artist features with managers & publicists.
- Identify important upcoming releases and projects to target for outreach.
- Facilitate internal scheduling logistics and artist materials.
- Maintain legal and archival paperwork for the talent relations department.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you’ll need:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2023 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
- Prior internship experience preferred.
- Good project management and planning skills.
- Good personnel management skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Familiar with SiriusXM + Pandora programming.
- Ability to lift and move equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
