(Remote Summer Internship) UI Design

The UI Design community works to improve the user interface of 1Cademy while simultaneously learning about relevant design concepts. We do this by collaborating with teammates on projects throughout the week, then sharing that progress with the entire team meeting every week to receive feedback. Interns learn how to apply important UI concepts to designs, collaborate on design creation, share and receive constructive feedback on designs, and create working prototypes using Figma.

By Joining Us, You Will ...

  1. Gain user interface prototyping/design experience.
  2. Gain experience collaborating with an interdisciplinary group of people.
  3. Gain experience creating/presenting mockups and clearly articulating important UI concepts to others in the community.
  4. Develop crucial skills in research and development (analysis, summarization, making connections, iterative development).
  5. Make a difference by identifying UI issues and proposing/applying innovative solutions to the 1Cademy platform.
  6. Collaborate with others to develop/improve various UI design features, and improve any currently used graphics or create new visually appealing graphics as needed.
  7. Successful interns would continue with taking leadership roles.
