Associate Graphic Production Artist

OVERVIEW
Equilar is looking for a skilled and agile associate graphic production artist to assist with Equilar’s expanding goals in sales, marketing, and events. In this role, you will work on a high volume of diverse projects with fast turnarounds and often-reshuffled priorities. The position is a full-time role, on-site in Chicago. PDF or online portfolio is required to be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create original, high-quality graphics based on direction from senior designer/leadership
- Work closely with Sales and Product teams to produce sales collateral, presentations, reports and web assets
- Adhere to brand and identity guidelines
- Work on multiple projects concurrently
- Deliver high-quality assets on deadline, with a tight turnaround
- Collaborate with the design team and department leads in creative brainstorming and project planning
- Provide creative feedback and respond to design critique and art direction with accurate updates
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of applicable experience
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Working knowledge of image optimization for web and email
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrate proficient understanding of typography, color, layout, and best practices
- Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks, while working closely with senior designers
- Must be highly organized and ready to learn
- Ability to produce quality designs under tight timelines
- Quick learner and eager to figure things out
