Associate Graphic Production Artist

Equilar is looking for a skilled and agile associate graphic production artist to assist with Equilar’s expanding goals in sales, marketing, and events. In this role, you will work on a high volume of diverse projects with fast turnarounds and often-reshuffled priorities. The position is a full-time role, on-site in Chicago. PDF or online portfolio is required to be considered.

  • Create original, high-quality graphics based on direction from senior designer/leadership
  • Work closely with Sales and Product teams to produce sales collateral, presentations, reports and web assets
  • Adhere to brand and identity guidelines
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Deliver high-quality assets on deadline, with a tight turnaround
  • Collaborate with the design team and department leads in creative brainstorming and project planning
  • Provide creative feedback and respond to design critique and art direction with accurate updates 

  • 1-2 years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Working knowledge of image optimization for web and email
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of typography, color, layout, and best practices
  • Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks, while working closely with senior designers
  • Must be highly organized and ready to learn
  • Ability to produce quality designs under tight timelines
  • Quick learner and eager to figure things out
