Hotel General Manager Lakeland Plant City Fairfield Inn

Shaner Hotels is seeking a dynamic and proven leader to lead our team at our beautiful Plant City Fairfield Inn!  

The ideal candidate will have successful management abilities in the hospitality industry. The general manager must be able to prioritize and organize work assignments, while providing clear direction to staff and ascertaining hotel training needs when necessary. It is imperative that the General Manager motivate associates and maintain a cohesive team while specializing in exceptional guest satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable manager who can confidently enforce the excellence of hotel standards, policies and procedures in accordance with Shaner and franchise (if applicable), as well as become a visible leader in the local community.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive hospitality leadership experience is required. Excellent people management and problem resolution skills. Superior guest satisfaction skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality financials, reporting requirements and industry measurements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
