Assistant Director, Video Production

 
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking an
Assistant Director, Video Production
Intercollegiate Athletics
Assist in the production of broadcast quality content for game day and on-game day events. Will utilize Click Effects Crossfire; Click Effects Blaze; Ross Switchers, Abekas Mire Replay systems and auto mixing. This position will exercise discretion and independent judgement in designing and implementation of graphic and motion graphic for traditional and non-traditional applications. Additionally, this position will utilize Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for broadcast production.
Assist the Director of Video Production in live production by providing consultation and expert advice in collecting and dissemination of digital content in live environment capabilities; digital cinema camera operations, time- sensitive social media content distribution, and planning and preparing of game presentation. Set a schedule to have enough staff on-hand for athletic and non-athletic events. Organize and archive all of collected video material.
Minimum Qualifications:                                                                                                                      
·      Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field of study.
·      Must know how to operate a professional ENG and digital cinema cameras.
 
Salary Information:  $44,000-$48,000/year
