Legal Assistant

Role Summary:
FIFTH SEASON is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support our legal team. This role entails executing general office administrative and clerical duties with high levels of professionalism, organizational skills and a strong eye for detail while interacting with high-level internal and external clientele.
 
  • Responsibilities: Maintain executive calendar by scheduling meetings, events, and booking conference rooms
  • Work closely with the executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments
  • Organize and distribute mail, packages, and other correspondence
  • Draft documents such as meeting minutes, notices, proxy statements, affidavits of mailings, agendas, and other office correspondence
  • Plan and organize meetings and conference calls, including international calls and meetings across multiple time zones
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the executive
  • Create and maintain databases and spreadsheet files
  • Process and monitor expense reports, memos, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Provide back-up coverage for other administrative assistants during planned or unplanned absences
  • Assist with special projects as requested by the executive and other departments

Requirements:
  • 1 year of legal experience supporting executive level personnel
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy
