Event Coordinator

Responsibilities
•Respond to incoming inquiries, providing all relevant event information
•Schedule, book and confirm parties and events
•Input and maintain all event details in POS system
•Coordinate with vendors and event staff all details prior, during, and after events
•Greet and check-in groups and parties
•Assist with management of inventory and supplies
•Supervise Party Hosts
•Deliver exceptional customer service throughout process
•The Event Coordinator will schedule and book events
•The Event Coordinator will work to exceed guests' expectations and ensure satisfaction, through the entire event process; including coordination of the check-in process, supervision of the event staff and finalization
•The Event Coordinator will assist in the training of other event staff and perform their functions when necessary
•Event Coordinator will also participate in special events and promotions


A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN EVENT SPECIALIST
As an Event Specialist, you work to exceed guests' expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the entire process including coordination of the check-in process, supervision of the event staff, and finalization. You understand that our guests are making memories, and you are determined to make sure that they are good ones. You're courteous, friendly, and professional customer service plays a huge role in the success of their important family celebrations. Your primary focus is on pre-event activities. You respond to incoming inquiries with clear and accurate information. The way you establish a good rapport easily gets things off to a great start. You book parties, schedule the staff, keep track of the details in the POS system, make confirmation calls, and coordinate details with vendors and staff. On the day of the event, you show great hospitality as you greet and check in the guests. You supervise the Event Hosts, ensuring that they carry on with that same level of hospitality. You also manage our inventory of supplies, making sure we have what is needed. You love mentoring others and assist in the training of other event staff, stepping in to perform their functions when necessary. In addition to kids’ parties, you get to participate in special events and promotions. Your organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to the success of each event. You make sure that everyone is running on schedule.
