Job Information
Qualifications
- Interns do not need to have all the qualifications or experience listed below, but a willingness to learn is essential. Ideal intern will have the following traits:
- GPA above 3.4 (please include GPA on resume to be considered)
- Preferably pursuing a degree in art design, web design, or related degree
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Knowledge of UX and web design conventions
- Basic HTML/CSS3 knowledge (desired, not required)
- Knowledge of open source CMS such as WordPress
- Proficiency in Illustrator or InDesign
- Stays up to date on new changes to the web and actively reads several blogs
About the Position
- This position is flexible with hours and days, and averages 12+ hours per week. Intern will enjoy his or her own workspace and computer, along with the ability to wear jeans/casual dress to work each day. Letters of recommendation are provided along with the ability to learn valuable skills necessary in the field of website design and digital marketing.
Please note that this is an on-site internship, based at our headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.
Responsibilities
- Take projects from specification to end user experience
- Troubleshoot web browser issues for web design team
Compensation
- $17-$18/hour
