Full Stack Software Engineer Internship

7Qubes, LLC is currently seeking a full stack software engineer. Applicants should be enthusiastic, resourceful, and genuinely interested in working in a technology start-up with a growing, multi-state footprint. 7Qubes is an evolving company, operating in the B2B (business-to-business) space helping provide technical solutions to the problems faced by businesses. We are a distributed team, so we have flexible work locations and hours, but are very results driven. Our work covers everything from FinTech to Blockchains to AI, providing a wealth of opportunity to grow your skills and portfolio. You will be supporting the mobile and software teams to integrate cross platforms features and development.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring the current application
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements as well as the development of user stories and estimates
• Assist in the development and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Assist in FrontEnd development of themes and styling of the current application
• Collaborate with experienced designers, strategists, client partners, and clients on the product
• Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code
• Develop and support the deployment of releases
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
Experience:
• Knowledge and project work in developing web applications and/or mobile apps
• Programming in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, JavaScript, Firebase, and other open-source libraries
• Experience/exposure to relational DBMS like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL
• Experience/exposure to NoSQL
• Previous work with Google Clouds, APIs, and System Integrations
• Proficient in team environments - able to work well with others, especially in distributed settings
• Strong communication skills. The team is distributed, so we have to be extra good about conveying where we are and what we’re doing.

Who we're looking for:
• Expected graduation of December 2022 through Summer 2023
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Analytics, or related major
• Experience learning programming languages
• Strong Communication and Analytical skills
