Athletics - Graduate Assistant for Broadcast and Video Services

Candidates must be accepted into one of the Graduate Programs here at Lander University prior to beginning the position.
 
Compensation: Selected candidate will receive a 50% tuition and fee waiver as well as a $3000 stipend per semester. Note that if the GA position does not relate directly to their graduate studies the student will be taxed on the stipend and tuition benefits. Graduate Assistants work approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. Graduate Assistantships may be renewed for one additional year.
 
Primary Responsibilities
 
Graduate Assistant for Broadcast and Video Services reports directly to the Director of marketing, production, and fan engagement and is responsible for producing high-quality video content to promote the name and brand of Lander Bearcat Athletics. Other duties include, but are not limited to managing live video stream production and some post-production content, creating or activating sponsorship elements within content or live streams, managing student production team for home games, collaborating with teams, coaches, and Sports Information department for regular, recurring content, as well as features highlighting the achievements of Lander student-athletes, maintaining the Lander Bearcat brand across production platforms, collaborating with other external departments and team members, including Marketing, Communications, Development, Corporate Sponsorship and Ticketing, on consistent branding and messaging. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in sports video production; experience in social media strategy development and management; and experience in graphic design. Experience in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Production Truck software is a plus.
