Cybersecurity Engineer, Junior, Lexington, MA

The Challenge:
When our country’s Cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough – we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our clients, we need strategic policy and technical solutions development. That’s why we need you, a Cybersecurity Engineer, with the skills to develop and implement security solutions in alignment with the strategies that determine our Cyber resilience.
As a Cybersecurity Engineer on our team, you’ll help review our client's current Cyber market and technology trends in order to bring best of breed solutions. You'll apply basic principles, theories, and concepts with limited industry knowledge in order to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll help develop a strategic Cyber roadmap and use various skills to create solutions. You’ll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. You Have:
  • Experience with security principles, approaches, and technologies in academic or internship environments
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of general computer systems, information security software, and hardware components, network systems, databases, or information security safeguards
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a BA or BS degree by Summer 2021
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as an Operating System Administrator, Systems Engineer, Requirements Analyst, Information Systems Security Officer, Information Systems Security Engineer
  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Ports, Protocols and Services Matrix, Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), and Host Based Security System 
  • Ability to create tactics, techniques, procedures, white papers, standard operating procedures, workflows, system data flows and architectural diagrams, and RMF policies
  • Secret clearance preferred
  • Pursuing a BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred, pursuing an MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field a plus
  • Ability to obtain a Security+, CISSP, CISA, or related Certifications
