iOS Developer

Trax has opportunities for developers interested in building exceptional iOS applications. Developers at Trax are responsible for the development of applications to solve business, engineering, and scientific problems. Trax is a highly collaborative environment where developers work very closely with other team members and clients to solve problems. We are looking for a passionate iOS Developer with experience building iOS applications from scratch. ·        Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

·        Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

·        Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

·        Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

 

·        Experience using Swift, Objective-C, Foundation, and Cocoa Touch

·        User-interface programming experience

·        Understanding of Xcode build environment (targets, schemes, build configurations, etc.)

·        Experience building client/server applications

·        Ability to work in an agile environment

·        Attention to detail

·        Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients

·        Highly motivated and dependable

·        Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notification

·        Critical thinker with the ability to demystify complex technical requirements

·        Experience with several Apple frameworks (Core Location, Core Graphics, MapKit, etc.)

·        A self-starter that relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish individual and team goals

Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline with at least 1 year experience or at least 2-3 years equivalent experience is required
