The Gartner Services Internship Program is a broad encompassing, dynamic and challenging role that will provide you the opportunity to work with Gartner leadership utilizing both quantitative and qualitative advanced analytics techniques to analyze data, problem solve and find solutions that help our clients make the right decisions.
During the internship you will take ownership of projects and have clear insight into the impact and outcome of the results. You may also have an opportunity to work directly with key clients to help them get value from their services. You’ll be successful in this role if you are an analytic thinker who is excited about solving business problems, working with large data sets and extracting the findings to come up with solutions. A passion for personal development and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively will also be key. Responsibilities:
· Develop creative approaches to solve challenging and real business problems
· Surface insights and streamline repeat activities using data visualization utilizing tools such as Power BI
· Apply data mining techniques, perform statistical analysis, and build high quality prediction systems utilizing tools such as Python and R
· Team with professionals to handle the most difficult situations to ensure we deliver significant value to clients
· Structure change programs and execute on them to influence colleagues to take action
· Collect feedback to write a road-map for IT development of an application or tool
Job Requirements:
· Proven track record of excellence, fueled by critical thinking with a passion for data analytics
· A strong student with a 3.5 or higher GPA, demonstrated leadership and work experience; Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics or Engineering required
· Proactive; self-initiated/driven, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple items
- High level of attention to detail, team player with a positive attitude
· Good at synthesizing and organizing information into meaningful content;
· Technology background is welcomed, but not required
