Intern-Product Marketing

Our Product Marketing team creates and leads the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for all of our focus areas, from the network to the cloud, endpoint and Security Operating Platform. We create messaging for our products that is used by everyone in the entire company, help the campaigns and field marketing teams to generate demand, help business development put in place the right tactics to support the GTM, and enable sales and channel position our products using a story that resonates with customers.
You will be working on our Network Security Product Marketing team which is responsible for the Network Security GTM. We have a culture of encouraging creative thinking to stand out from the noise of the competition. With this team, you will get the exposure of working in a big market where we are the fast-growing leader, and at the same time you’ll enjoy creative work.
 
Scope of work – Past projects have ranged from 1 month to 3 months and typically involve creating interactive new content, reviewing and refreshing existing content, working on our internal and external web site.
 
Opportunities: 
  • Creating appealing content to market our products to business and technical audiences
  • Exposure to how business and technical decision makers think and why they buy what they buy
  • Storytelling: think story arc, as in Star Wars story arc, hero’s journey, the role of the guide in a story, and so on

Skills:
The successful applicant should…
  • Have great written and verbal communication skills, preferably demonstrated in past projects
  • Be able to work with multiple stakeholders to clarify requirements and define goals before embarking on the tactics
  • Be able to tell a story
 
Requirements – All applicants must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree. You must have authorization to work within the United States.
