ISF Borderless (Summer 2027) Intern

ISF's Spring and Summer Journalism Internship Program supports emerging journalists uplifting Muslim storytelling by placing them in top newsrooms nationwide.

Applicants may be considered for one or more programs, depending on their qualifications, availability, and the program's needs. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Invested in amplifying Muslim voices and fostering community-led social change; 
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. green card holder, or DACA recipient;
  • A minimum of 3.0 GPA;
  • An undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student enrolled in a journalism program or related field, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
  • Borderless (Summer 2027): Requires applications to be based in the Chicagoland area. It's expected to start in May. (15 weeks/Part-time, $6,000 stipend)
