College UGC Creator — TikTok & Instagram | Remote
About Huntz
Huntz is a social accountability app that helps people build better habits and achieve their goals by putting money on the line. Whether you’re trying to work out consistently, read daily, or stop procrastinating, Huntz helps turn intentions into action through accountability, daily progress, and community-driven challenges.
About the role
We’re looking for creative, social-media-native college students who know how to make entertaining TikToks and Instagram Reels. You’ll create relatable, engaging content around procrastination, fitness, self-improvement, personal goals, productivity, and the everyday struggles of trying to get your life together. We don’t care whether you have 200 followers or 200,000. We care whether you can tell a good story, understand internet culture, make people laugh, capture attention within the first few seconds, and create content people actually want to share. You will help build dedicated Huntz-owned TikTok and Instagram accounts from the ground up.
Responsibilities
• Create 30 short-form videos per month, targeting approximately one video per day
• Publish each completed video to both TikTok and Instagram Reels; one video cross-posted to both platforms counts as one deliverable
• Recreate Huntz-provided scripts, concepts, and reference videos in your own style, adapting the hook and approach for your audience
• Develop original concepts using trends, humor, storytelling, relatable situations, and creative hooks when you believe they will perform better
• Record and edit independently using CapCut, TikTok, or similar tools; many concepts are designed to be produced quickly and efficiently with minimal edits
Content should feel entertaining and native to the platform, not like traditional corporate advertising.
Account ownership and access
The TikTok and Instagram accounts are owned by Huntz. Selected creators will help set up and operate dedicated accounts under Huntz’s direction. Creators would transfer any account materials when the engagement ends.
Duration
The initial engagement is a 30-day pilot. Strong performers may be offered an extension of approximately 6–12 months based on performance, business needs, and mutual agreement. No extension is guaranteed.
Compensation and bonuses
• $15 per approved short-form video published to both TikTok and Instagram
• Target volume: 30 approved videos per month, equivalent to $450 in target monthly compensation before bonuses
• Performance-based bonuses would become available after the initial 30-day pilot and may be tied to views or signups generated for Huntz
Who we’re looking for
• Currently enrolled at a U.S. college or university and based in the United States
• Legally eligible to perform the work in the United States; eligible CPT and OPT candidates are welcome
• Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera
• Creative, original, personable, and able to tell a concise story
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, memes, trends, and Gen Z online culture
• Able to film and edit short-form videos independently
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable meeting consistent content deadlines
• Interested in startups, lifestyle content, productivity, fitness, self-improvement, or relatable experiences
Previous UGC, TikTok, Reels, or personal content experience is preferred but not required. No minimum follower count is required. Students from every major are encouraged to apply.
How to apply
Applicants must submit:
• An up-to-date resume
• A link to an existing UGC portfolio, TikTok account, Instagram account, or another public example of creative work
The account or portfolio does not need a large following or polished professional production. We evaluate creativity, camera presence, storytelling, original ideas, platform instincts, reliability, and future potential, not follower count or academic prestige.
Please include brief answers to the following in your resume or portfolio document:
1. Have you created short-form videos before? Briefly describe your experience.
2. Are you comfortable appearing on camera and creating original videos?
3. Can you consistently create and cross-post approximately 30 videos per month?
4. What is one relatable TikTok or Reel idea you would make for an app that helps people stop procrastinating and achieve their goals?
