Business Management & Marketing Coordinator

KUki | Business Management & Marketing Coordinator

Paid Internship | Entrepreneurial Leadership Opportunity

Company: KUki – Travel Comfort & Lifestyle Brand
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah | Flexible / Hybrid
Target Applicants: University of Utah – David Eccles School of Business
Compensation: Paid internship, with potential performance-based equity participation and long-term leadership opportunities

Help Build a New Consumer Brand from the Ground Up

KUki is an emerging travel comfort and lifestyle brand developing an innovative line of products designed to transform how people rest, relax, and travel.

Our flagship product, the KUki Travel Cocoon, combines thoughtful ergonomic design, soft goods innovation, and versatile functionality to create an entirely new approach to travel comfort.

We're preparing to bring KUki to market and are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Business Management & Marketing Coordinator to work directly with the founder in developing and executing our business and marketing strategy.

This isn't a typical internship where you'll spend your days observing meetings. You'll be directly involved in building a brand from its earliest stages, contributing ideas, making decisions, and helping turn an innovative product into a successful consumer business.

What You'll Do

Marketing & Brand Development

Help develop and execute KUki's overall marketing and brand strategy.

Coordinate social media marketing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

Develop content calendars, creative campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.

Research and coordinate relationships with travel influencers, content creators, and potential brand ambassadors.

Assist in website development, e-commerce strategy, SEO, email marketing, and customer acquisition.

Help establish KUki's brand identity, voice, and market positioning.

Business Management & Strategy

Work directly with the founder on business planning, launch strategies, and operational coordination.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.

Help develop sales projections, marketing budgets, and business performance reports.

Research potential distribution channels, retail partnerships, and collaborative opportunities.

Coordinate with outside marketing agencies, designers, manufacturers, and other business partners.

Help establish systems and processes to support the company's growth.

Entrepreneurial Leadership

Bring creative ideas and practical solutions to the table.

Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through execution.

Identify new business opportunities and marketing approaches.

Help establish measurable goals and track progress toward brand-launch milestones.

Play an active role in shaping KUki's future.

Who We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

A self-starter mentality with strong initiative and follow-through.

Working knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and contemporary consumer trends.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

An entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for startups and product innovation.

Creativity balanced with practical business judgment.

Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, Shopify, social media analytics, or similar platforms.

The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the founder and external partners.

Previous startup experience is welcome but not required. Initiative, creativity, reliability, and the ability to get things done matter more than an impressive résumé.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

This is a paid internship with flexible scheduling designed to accommodate university coursework.

For exceptional candidates, KUki offers the possibility of a long-term management or marketing leadership position, along with potential vested equity participation based on mutually agreed performance benchmarks and business milestones.

We believe people who help build a successful business should have the opportunity to share in its success.

Any future equity participation would be subject to a separate written agreement and defined vesting requirements.

Work Directly With the Founder

You'll report directly to KUki's founder, Evan Glassman, an entrepreneur with extensive experience in product development, industrial design, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and bringing new product concepts to life.

KUki's product development and manufacturing foundation is already underway. We're now looking for talented business and marketing minds to help turn that foundation into a compelling consumer brand.

This is an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, brand building, consumer product launches, and startup management.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build something—not simply add another line to their résumé.

Please submit:
