Tech Your Impact is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Orlando, FL. We equip individuals with the digital skills, entrepreneurial tools, and AI knowledge they need to grow, lead, and create lasting impact in their communities.
Position Summary
Tech Your Impact seeks a Volunteer and Data Management intern who will help drive our impact by keeping our data organized, our volunteers engaged, and our programs running smoothly. You’ll manage program and participant data, coordinate volunteer activities, and ensure we can measure and communicate the difference we make in our community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate databases for students, volunteers, and partners.
- Collect and analyze data for grants, funders, and impact reports.
- Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for STEM events and mentorship programs.
- Schedule, train, and support volunteers to ensure meaningful engagement.
- Track volunteer hours and develop recognition initiatives.
- Assist with event logistics and ensure accurate reporting of attendance and outcomes.
- Collaborate with staff to improve data systems and program efficiency.
Required Competencies
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in education, STEM-related field, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in program management, managing data or coordinating volunteers.
- Experience working with diverse communities, including underrepresented and underserved populations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel and project management/ CRM database systems (Salesforce, Airtable, etc.)
- Passion for STEM education.
To Be Considered:
- Must pass a Level 2 background check. Reliable transportation and a FL driver’s license is required. This is not a remote position.
