SMART TEXTILE FABRICATION SPECIALIST

We are seeking a creative, hands-on Smart Textile Fabricator, Technician, Developer, or Engineer to join our team and help develop, fabricate, and test a textile-based seated overlay that senses factors attributing to pressure injuries for mobility limited individuals. You will turn ideas into working prototypes and help move our designs toward repeatable, manufacturing-ready processes, supporting laboratory testing and community-based field studies as we path toward FDA clearance. We welcome any qualified candidate who is excited to help develop and advance smart textiles. Knowledge of textiles and textile fabrication methods is strongly preferred, and creativity is a plus. This role works closely with our engineering team (hardware, electronics, firmware, and software), a UX Consultant, regulatory consultant(s), clinicians, researchers, and lived-experience community members. This is a 75% to 100% full-time equivalent position. It is likely to the position will be 80% in-person (at our location in the SW Metropolitan Area of Minneapolis, MN) and 20% remote.
