A nationally recognized artist — represented in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, and the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, and a Tennessee Williams Fellow in Fiction and the author of nine books — is looking for a part-time intern to assist with studio administration in Asheville, NC.

About you

- Detail-oriented and reliable — deadlines matter here- Strong writing and communication skills- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision- Interest in contemporary art, literature, or arts administration is a plus- Experience with grant writing or literary submissions a plus, but not required

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a significant figure in American contemporary art and literature. The day-to-day is practical, but the context is anything but ordinary.
