Summer Sales Representative - Internship (Summer 2027)
Purple Bear Pest Control is a fast-growing residential pest control company in Charleston, SC. Founded in 2025, we grew from zero to roughly 250 recurring customers in our first season through hands-on, world-class service. We're looking for competitive, coachable students who want to learn real sales skills, earn based on performance, and spend the summer in Charleston.
What you'll do:
- Knock doors in Charleston-area neighborhoods and talk with homeowners about pest control
- Sell recurring service plans: quarterly and bi-monthly pest control, mosquito reduction, rodent control, and termite treatments
- Learn a proven sales process through hands-on training and daily coaching
- Set goals, track your numbers, and compete with the team
- Represent Purple Bear with professionalism and great customer service
Who we're looking for:
- Competitive, driven, and coachable
- Strong communicator who enjoys talking with people
- Comfortable working outdoors and handling rejection
- Athletes, military, and anyone with a team background encouraged to apply
- No sales experience required - we'll train you
Pay:
- Commission-only: you earn on every account you sell, with no cap on earnings
