Student Content Creator (Social Media Video Creator)- Freelance

Location: Flexible / Hybrid / Remote
Hours: Flexible to fit around studies (Approx. 5-10 hours per week)
Pay: £15-£18 per hour, 5-8 hours per week (dependent on experience) Bonus also available 

 

Looking for a creative side hustle while you study?

 

We are seeking a motivated and creative student to help produce engaging short-form videos for our social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.

This is an ideal opportunity for a student studying media, marketing, communications, journalism, film, digital content creation or a related subject who wants to build a portfolio and gain real-world experience creating content for a professional services business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Filming and editing content using a smartphone and video editing software.
  • Turning legal topics and client questions into engaging, easy-to-understand videos.
  • Adding captions, music and effects to maximise engagement.
  • Identifying social media trends and suggesting new content ideas.
  • Assisting with content planning and scheduling.
  • Helping build brand awareness through creative and informative content.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience, but you should:

  • Be confident using TikTok, Instagram and other social media platforms.
  • Have a good understanding of current social media trends.
  • Be comfortable filming and editing videos.
  • Have excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Be organised, reliable and able to work independently.
  • Have creative ideas and a willingness to experiment with different content styles.

Bonus Skills

While not essential, it would be advantageous if you have experience with:

  • CapCut
  • Canva
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Social media analytics
  • Graphic design
  • Photography or videography
