Our culture is guided by three core pillars: Be The Standard. Do The Work That Endures. How We Show Up Matters.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Curich Weiss Amplify (CWA) is seeking an organized, resourceful and proactive Office Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our office and provide administrative support across the agency.
This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and interested in building a career in public relations, marketing and integrated communications. The Office Administrative Coordinator will help ensure that the office runs smoothly, coordinate with outside partners including building management and IT providers, provide administrative support to agency leadership, and assist with agency-wide projects as assigned.
The role is also designed as an entry point into CWA account teams. In addition to their core office and administrative responsibilities, the Coordinator will have opportunities to learn the fundamentals of agency and client service, participate in training, and assist account teams with appropriate entry-level assignments.
As Account Coordinator opportunities become available, the Office Administrative Coordinator will be among the first internal candidate considered for advancement, based on demonstrated performance, readiness and business needs.
AGENCY + ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT
- Develop an understanding of CWA clients, services and approach to public relations and integrated marketing.
- Participate in relevant agency training and professional development alongside junior account staff.
- Assist account teams with research, media list development, reporting, mailings and other appropriate entry-level assignments as workload permits.
- Build familiarity with the tools, processes and standards used by CWA account teams.
- Demonstrate the communication, organization, judgment, initiative and attention to detail required for eventual advancement into an Account Coordinator position.
- Take an active interest in the media, culture and industries represented by CWA clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-2 years of professional, internship or comparable experience.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in public relations, marketing, communications or client service.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional, responsive and dependable.
- Comfortable managing multiple assignments and shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourceful and willing to take ownership of tasks through completion.
- Comfortable working with outside vendors, building management and technology providers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and technology quickly.
- Proficiency with Asana and Slack.
- Intellectual curiosity and an interest in media, brands, culture and communications.
- Positive, collaborative approach and willingness to help wherever needed.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
CWA views this position as an opportunity to identify and develop future account talent from within the agency. The Office Administrative Coordinator will gain exposure to agency operations, client service and the fundamentals of public relations while building the skills required to succeed as an Account Coordinator.
Advancement is not automatic or tied to a specific timeframe; it will depend on individual performance, demonstrated readiness and available positions. However, when an Account Coordinator opening becomes available, a successful Office Administrative Coordinator will receive first consideration before CWA looks externally to fill the role.
WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE
CWA operates on a hybrid work schedule, however, due to the nature of its responsibilities, the Office Administrative Coordinator is primarily an office-based role. The position requires regular in-person presence in the CWA New York office Monday through Thursday, as well as select Fridays based on office and business needs.
The Office Administrative Coordinator should therefore expect to work in the office a minimum of four days per week, with additional in-office days as required to support agency operations, meetings, events, deliveries, vendors or other business needs.
