The City of Paso Robles is excited to welcome a planning intern to the Community Development Department’s Planning Division. This is an opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to turn classroom learning into real-world experience and see firsthand how thoughtful planning helps guide the growth and future of a community.

Working alongside experienced planning professionals, the planning intern will gain a practical understanding of municipal planning and development while contributing to meaningful work that serves the Paso Robles community. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to build a strong foundation for a career in planning or a related field.

This part-time internship is open to current students and recent graduates in planning or a related field. The position is scheduled for up to 17 hours per week for a maximum of one year, with the potential for a one-year extension by mutual agreement.
