Sports Event Photographer

Love sports, photography, travel, and meeting new people? This might be the weekend opportunity you’ve been looking for. Picture Pros Photography captures youth athletes at tournaments across the country, and we’re growing our team. We’re looking for dependable, energetic people who want more than a typical weekend job. This opportunity combines photography, youth sports, travel, customer interaction, sales, and live event experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Photograph youth sports teams and individual athletes
  • Work directly with players, coaches, and families
  • Help customers choose photo products
  • Keep teams organized and events moving smoothly
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and event operations
  • Travel to tournaments and work alongside the Picture Pros event team

This is more than a photography position. You’ll be part photographer, part customer-service professional, and part event team member.

What You’ll Need

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Own a DSLR or mirrorless camera
  • Regular Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability
  • Comfortable with overnight and multi-day travel
  • Able to stand, walk, and carry equipment for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors

Compensation
This is a performance-based 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a traditional hourly position. For qualifying full events, contractors receive either their earned commission or an applicable $375 minimum event protection amount, whichever is greater, subject to company policies and event requirements. Earnings vary based on event size, photography production, customer engagement, sales performance, and assigned responsibilities.

Growth Opportunities
Strong performers may have opportunities to advance into Senior Photographer, Sales Representative, Event Lead, Event Manager, Training Support, or Regional Leadership roles.
