Social Media & Communications Intern

Finz is a New York-based fintech building AI-native finance for businesses. We’re looking for a strong communicator with good creative instincts to help build Finz’s digital presence across social media, content, newsletters, podcasts, and industry conversations.

What You’ll Do

  • Help manage and grow Finz’s presence across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels
  • Turn founder ideas, product updates, customer insights, and industry conversations into engaging content
  • Research fintech, AI, finance, and startup trends to identify timely content opportunities
  • Help develop and publish newsletters and longer-form content
  • Support the development of a Finz podcast, including guest research, outreach, preparation, and distribution
  • Repurpose conversations, articles, events, and podcasts into social content and short-form formats
  • Research relevant podcasts, media, events, speaking opportunities, and industry communities
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and publishing cadence
  • Track content performance and identify what is resonating with the audience

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, English, Business, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills
  • Good instincts for what makes content interesting, useful, and worth sharing
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn, X, newsletters, podcasts, and digital media
  • Comfortable using AI for research, writing, editing, and content production
  • Able to turn complex business and technology ideas into clear, simple content
  • Organized, resourceful, and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and visual judgment
  • Experience with Canva, Figma, CapCut, Substack, Beehiiv, podcast tools, social scheduling platforms, or similar tools is useful, but not required.
