The Opportunity

Hemmy Productions is preparing to move from investor research into the initial investor-outreach stage.

Our research team has already completed the initial identification and deeper research of prospective entertainment financing and investment contacts. We are now looking for a student interested in gaining practical experience in professional business and investor outreach to help make the initial introduction.

This is not a sales or cold-calling commission position.

The purpose of the role is simple:

Open the door.

Once an investor or financing contact expresses interest in learning more, a senior member of the Hemmy Productions team will take over the substantive conversation.

What You Would Do

Working from research and contact information prepared by the Hemmy team, you would:

• Review the background information on assigned prospective contacts
• Become familiar with the relevant Hemmy Productions project and outreach materials
• Conduct professional introductory email and/or telephone outreach
• Introduce Hemmy Productions and the purpose of the outreach
• Determine whether the contact is open to receiving additional information
• Provide the approved introductory materials when appropriate
• Document the outcome of each outreach attempt
• Communicate interested responses to a senior Hemmy Productions team member
• Help coordinate the transition from the initial introduction to the senior team

You will not be expected to negotiate an investment or financing transaction.

Senior Team Participation

When an outreach contact progresses to a substantive conversation, a senior member of the Hemmy Productions team will handle the next stage of the relationship.

Where appropriate, the intern may have the opportunity to observe or shadow these conversations as a professional learning experience, subject to confidentiality and the parties' permission.

This provides an opportunity to see how a professional entertainment financing conversation develops from an initial introduction into a substantive business discussion.

Previous professional investor-outreach experience is not required.

We are primarily looking for someone who is willing to learn, communicate professionally, and take responsibility for making a strong first impression.

Important Scope of the Internship

The intern's role is limited to introductory outreach and communication.

The intern will not:

• Negotiate financing terms
• Make investment recommendations
• Provide financial or legal advice
• Make investment commitments on behalf of Hemmy Productions
• Represent themselves as having authority to negotiate a transaction
• Receive a commission or transaction-based compensation for securing financing

Substantive financing discussions and negotiations will be handled by senior members of the Hemmy Productions team.

Professional Development

This is a project-based internship designed to give students a concrete professional experience they can discuss in future interviews, applications, and portfolios.

A student who successfully completes the internship may receive a detailed internship completion letter documenting their responsibilities, outreach experience, communication skills, and project participation.
