UGC Creator Scout ($20/hr, San Francisco)
Get paid to scroll TikTok and Instagram.
Tomo is an AI startup in San Francisco. We work with social media creators (UGC), and we need a sharp high school or college student to help us scout them.
What you'll do
- Come into our SF office 5 days a week, 2 to 3 hours a day (after school)
- Start a fresh TikTok/Instagram account on your phone and train its feed to show the creators we want
- Find creators, message them, and submit each one through our form
- Look for smaller creators (under 50,000 followers) who fit our brand and are easy to work with and coach
- Each day we review your feed and your list together, so you get better fast

You're a fit if you
- Are a high school (16+) or college student in San Francisco
- Already spend time on TikTok/Instagram and know good content when you see it
- Pay attention to detail and can take feedback
- Can reliably come in 5 days a week
Details
- $20/hour
- In person at our San Francisco office
- Under 18? You'll need a California work permit (your school issues it, and we'll help)
- A phone is all you need
- We'd love you to start right away
What makes a great creator (they don't need all of these, just some)
- Repeats a format and gets better at it over time
- Conventionally attractive
- Really good speaking voice: clear, standard American English
- Posts consistently
- Does not call themselves a "UGC creator"
- Bonus: already into self-improvement (self help, getting stronger, giving advice). We'll train you on which niches fit and what our product does
- The more undiscovered, the better: a big gap between how good they could be and how few people have found them
