We create professional, inspiring workplaces that help businesses thrive—and we’re looking for a creative Interior Design Intern to help elevate the look and feel of our Southern California locations.
This is an incredible opportunity for a design student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience selecting furnishings, artwork, décor, finishes, and accessories for real commercial spaces.
You’ll work directly with our executive team on projects ranging from refreshing existing business centers to designing newly acquired locations.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in designing coworking and executive office environments
- Research and source furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories, and décor
- Create furniture plans and finish palettes
- Develop design presentations and mood boards
- Recommend paint colors, wallpaper, flooring, and finish selections
- Help create cohesive design standards across multiple locations
- Source products that balance aesthetics, durability, and budget
- Coordinate with furniture vendors and manufacturers
- Visit Premier Workspaces locations throughout Southern California to evaluate spaces and assist with installations
- Organize product samples, catalogs, and design libraries
- Stay current on workplace design trends and commercial furniture innovations
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
- Is currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Has an exceptional eye for design and styling
- Loves selecting furniture, décor, artwork, textiles, and finishes
- Understands current workplace and hospitality design trends
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoys both creative work and project coordination
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Has excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
- Knowledge of commercial furniture manufacturers
- Experience creating mood boards and presentation decks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

- Have experience sourcing artwork and décor
- Enjoy visiting design showrooms and discovering new products
- Have photography or styling experience

Location
Based in Irvine, California, with travel to Premier Workspaces locations throughout Southern California.
Schedule
