Senior Product Manager

Chronicle is building the audience platform for global franchises - a platform that powers creator discovery, audience intelligence, and automated acquisition workflows. Our agentic AI platform simulates tens of thousands of niche audience segments to find the largest possible fanbase for any piece of content, then runs one continuous growth loop: discover, optimize, simulate, acquire, measure. We work with Academy Award-nominated animation studios, breakout YouTube series, game studios, and global brands, and our work has been featured in Forbes, Deadline, Variety, Inc., Entrepreneur, and GamesBeat.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the product roadmap, our user research practice, and the delivery process with engineering - so that prioritization, validation, and shipping are not bottlenecked on executive bandwidth.

This is a high-impact role for a product manager who enjoys turning ambiguity into a sequenced plan, building process where none exists yet, and running a tight execution loop with engineering without slowing anyone down. You will work alongside our AI Product Manager, who owns model and agent capability: your focus is the product experience, workflows, and platform surface those capabilities power.

You will own the product roadmap and the operating system around it. That includes how client and partner insight gets captured and validated, how work gets specified and prioritized, and how the roadmap gets delivered with engineering. You will be accountable for the roadmap being credible, evidence-based, and shipped, while building the processes that let the whole team move quickly without losing the plot.

Responsibilities

  • You will own, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, translating company strategy — enterprise expansion, partner commitments, and new verticals from animation to games to video podcasts — into a sequenced, resourced plan with explicit trade-offs.
  • You will build and run our user research practice, holding regular structured conversations with creators, studio partners, and brand teams, and sitting in on onboarding, campaign reviews, and partner check-ins to understand where value lands and where users get stuck.
  • You will turn platform outcomes — audience discovery results, content testing performance, campaign and retention data — into product insight, and synthesize research into clear artifacts that shape both roadmap and positioning.
  • You will establish durable product processes: intake and triage for requests, discovery and validation before build, specs and PRDs at the right level of detail, and launch discipline including release notes and internal enablement.
  • You will run the prioritization cadence with engineering: breaking the roadmap into well-scoped, sequenced work, keeping the backlog honest, unblocking decisions fast, and acting as the single front door for requests so engineering time is protected.
  • You will manage implementation day to day with the engineering team — planning, refinement, and review rhythms — with acceptance criteria that respect the difference between deterministic platform features and probabilistic model behavior.
  • You will partner closely with the AI Product Manager, sales, and ops to keep model capability, product surface, and go-to-market moving as one roadmap, and you will own the calls when client escalations, partner commitments, and technical debt compete.
  • You will define and track product metrics — activation, campaign performance, channel retention on the platform, and workflow adoption — and use them to defend or change prioritization decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong product management experience shipping B2B or platform products, with demonstrated judgment in prioritization and scoping, ideally including time at an early-stage company where you built process rather than inheriting it.
  • A demonstrated user research habit: you talk to users regularly, and you can show how research changed what got built.
  • Experience shipping data-heavy or ML-adjacent products — you don't need to train models, but you must be comfortable specifying systems with probabilistic outputs, evaluation metrics, and accuracy considerations.
  • Experience running delivery with engineering teams: writing clear requirements, managing backlogs, and holding a planning cadence that engineers actually find useful.
  • Excellent written communication — your specs, roadmaps, and release notes will be read by engineers, executives, and enterprise partners.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with campaign, ad-platform, or creator-economy products (targeting, measurement, channel growth, YouTube operations).
  • Experience productizing services-led or operator-led workflows into self-serve software.
  • Experience working alongside applied AI or ML teams, including agentic products, and shaping how model capability becomes user-facing product.
  • Familiarity with media, entertainment, or studio content pipelines and the partner dynamics that come with them.
