Position Overview

The Marketing & Communications Associate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns, managing social media, creating branded marketing materials, communicating with salon partners, answering customer inquiries, taking phone orders, and helping grow the Artègo USA salon community.

You will work directly with company leadership, including the CEO, COO, and Marketing Manager.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable designing a brochure, answering customer calls, or creating Instagram content.

 

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Help manage and grow Artègo USA's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging social media content including graphics, captions, videos, and marketing campaigns.
  • Design professional marketing materials including brochures, flyers, catalogs, presentations, advertisements, and sales collateral.
  • Create email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to customer inquiries.

Customer Service & Salon Support

  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and enthusiastically.
  • Assist salons with product information, pricing, education, promotions, and ordering.
  • Process customer orders over the phone.
  • Help salons navigate the Artègo USA website and Salon Lounge.
  • Resolve customer questions with professionalism and urgency.
  • Build lasting relationships with salon owners and stylists.

Sales & Business Development

  • Contact every new salon that registers on the Artègo USA website.
  • Welcome new customers to the Artègo family.
  • Introduce the brand and offer assistance with their first order.
  • Educate customers on products, education, promotions, and rewards programs.
  • Conduct outbound calls to recruit new salons throughout the United States.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge/experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with strong design abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive, energetic, and customer-focused personality.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
  • Social media management experience
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills

Preferred Skills

  • Mailchimp experience
  • Canva
  • Basic video editing (Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  • Photography or content creation experience
  • Beauty industry/hair knowledge
