In the United States, MA Asset Management is a private credit investment manager specializing in asset backed credit. The U.S. team invests in diversified portfolios of loans, assets, or receivables across various sectors.

Internship Program

MA is looking for interns to join our summer program to work on the Investment Team in Manhattan. Interns will contribute as active members of a rapidly growing, highly collaborative, and entrepreneurial team. Responsibilities

The Summer Analyst’s responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing prospective and existing asset-based lending and specialty finance investments.
• Building and updating financial and cash flow models. 
• Conducting company, industry and market research relevant to new and existing investments. 
• Preparing Investment Committee memos and presentations.
• Monitoring portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Rising college senior (potential for full-time job offer at conclusion of internship).
• Working toward bachelor’s degree (2028 graduation) in finance, economics, mathematics, or similar discipline from a 4-year college (required).
• Demonstrated interest in investing is highly desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize detailed analysis into clear conclusions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; prior financial-modelling experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work full-time and in person five days per week for the entire internship in Manhattan. Out of state applicants will be provided with an accommodation stipend.
