About BookaBooth

BookaBooth partners with local cafés to help them earn an additional $500–$1,000 in weekly revenue by installing our slim, soundproof booths inside their locations. Customers use our mobile app to instantly discover partner cafés, reserve a booth, and take private Zoom meetings or study sessions without distracting other patrons.

With an established network of approximately 10,000 users in NYC, BookaBooth drives new foot traffic and sales to local businesses while providing a seamless, automated workspace solution. Our team handles 100% of the booth setup, technology integration, and ongoing maintenance.

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated Fundraising Interns to help lead our capital generation strategies. In this role, you will structure, automate, and scale our investor outreach, donor research, and crowdfunding workflows. A primary focus of this internship will be the strategic launch and management of our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. This role offers an incredible opportunity for Business, Finance, and Communications majors to gain real-world startup fundraising experience and execute a high-profile crowdfunding launch.

Responsibilities

  • Kickstarter Campaign Execution: Play a core role in planning, launching, and managing BookaBooth's live Kickstarter campaign, including reward structuring and backer updates.
  • Lead Generation & Research: Identify, vet, and compile databases of potential crowdfunding backers, B2B venue partners, and angel investors.
  • Outreach Management: Build and optimize multi-channel communication pipelines (email, social media, LinkedIn) to scale personalized investor and community relations.
  • Campaign Content Optimization: Work alongside our content team to deploy compelling campaign pitches, updates, and messaging that maximize conversion rates.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Monitor campaign traction, financial metrics, and backer engagement data to pivot strategies in real time and hit funding milestones.

Qualifications

  • Academic Standing: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Digital Automation Familiarity: Experience or strong interest in leveraging software tools (e.g., automated email sequences, scrapers, CRM databases) to scale outreach and market research.
  • Crowdfunding Passion: A strong understanding of or eagerness to learn crowdfunding mechanics, community building, and viral growth loops (specifically for Kickstarter).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written skills with the ability to structure compelling financial and brand narratives.
