Marketing Intern
Marketing Internship @ Moonrocks, LLC
Duration: September – December 2026
Hours: Part-time (15–20 hours per week)
Reports to: President & Founder
Application Deadline: August 15, 2026
ABOUT MOONROCKS
Moonrocks, LLC is a boutique sponsorship marketing and business development agency that connects brands with live events, experiences, and audiences across the U.S. and Canada.
We work with event properties across industries including music and entertainment, endurance and sporting events, festivals, attractions, holiday experiences, hospitality, and community events to develop meaningful brand partnerships.
Our job is to understand what a brand is trying to accomplish: who they want to reach, where they want to reach them, and what their marketing goals are, and identify the events and experiences that can help them get there.
Our team works on everything from sponsorship strategy and brand research to partnership development, customized proposals, experiential activations, and community engagement for national tours. Interns have the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to both sides of the sponsorship industry: working with exciting event properties while researching and helping identify brands that could be a strong strategic fit.
Because Moonrocks is a boutique firm, interns aren't limited to one small piece of the marketing process. You'll have the opportunity to see how partnerships are developed from the initial idea and research through outreach, proposal development, activation, and execution.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an aspiring marketing or communications professional looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career with a fast-moving boutique marketing firm?
If you're ambitious, proactive, highly motivated, and willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, we'd love to meet you.
We're looking for a high-energy Marketing Intern who is interested in event marketing, sponsorships, experiential marketing, brand partnerships, and live events and wants meaningful, hands-on experience.
This isn't an internship where you'll spend the semester watching from the sidelines. You'll work alongside our team, contribute to active projects and client initiatives, learn how brands evaluate sponsorship opportunities, and gain an inside look at the business behind live events.
We want you to learn, contribute, grow, and have some fun along the way.
