Room Reset & Facility Oversight

  • Support event logistics by setting up and resetting rooms, including chair counts, music stand organization, and room setup and reset.
  • Inspect rooms to confirm they have been reset according to institutional policy; when necessary, reset rooms to ensure readiness for subsequent use.
  • Document and report any recurring policy-related reset failures to the Interim Head of Operations.
  • Monitor shared spaces for cleanliness, safety concerns, and general organization. Take appropriate interim action when necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining back-of-stage organization and cleanliness, including surrounding equipment and tech carts.
  • Ensure guests exit the building before building closing times.

Event & Concert Production

  • Assist with setup and teardown for concerts, recitals, rehearsals, and special events.

  • Manage stage setup, transitions, and resets to ensure seamless performances for multiple event groups.
  • When instructed, set up and tear down basic technical equipment (e.g., stage lights, speakers/microphones, and Meyer Sound); report any equipment failures to relevant staff and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • While following proper safety procedures and in coordination with Crowden faculty and staff, move and position large musical instruments (e.g., pianos, harpsichords).
  • Assist Crowden Faculty/Staff with restoring event spaces to standard configuration following events.
  • Assist with instrument load-in and load-out, helping to place instruments in the designated performance space based on staging needs or documented production needs.
