Human Resources Intern
Ohio State University Physicians, Inc., is growing to provide much-needed health care services to the Columbus area. We are the multispecialty practice that manages The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s physician clinics.
We are currently seeking an Intern to join our Human Resources department.
OSU Physicians’ HR Internship is an excellent way to gain exposure to the HR field and learn a variety of specialties within the industry.
OSUP HR Interns support the Human Resources team through regular tasks and short term projects.
- Assists in recruiting and onboarding new employees through job posting, resume review, interview scheduling, ordering and monitoring pre-boarding activities and communicating with candidates and managers.
- Supports the HR team in data entry in the HRIS, participates in reporting, auditing and data managements tasks and assists in a variety of administrative tasks.
- Communicates with employees and managers to provide assistance in routine questions.
- Collaborates with the HR and Marketing teams to contribute to the organization’s internal and external communication platforms.
- Works independently on special projects and joins some routine HR Generalists tasks to broaden HR and operational acumen.
Requirements:
- Interns must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Should have effective organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Must possess a willingness to explore HR and work in a variety of areas.
- Has a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday business hours.
